He has performed with many orchestras such as : Moscow Symphony Orchestra, North Nederland Symphony, Mexico Symphony, Kharkov Philharmonic, Freiburg Symphony, Orchestra di Teatro di Genova, Sanremo Symphony, Yaroslavl Philharmonic, Ulianovsk Philharmonic, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra, Vasteras Sinfonietta, Kazakhstan Chamber Orchestra, Akademik Baskent in Ankara, Normandy, Garde Republicaine in Paris under Michel Tabachnik, Jean-Pierre Wallez, Jean Deroyer, Naoto Otomo, Anton Nanut, Peter Csaba...

He plays in the biggest halls as: Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Theatre du Châtelet, Salle Gaveau in Paris, Concertgebow in Amsterdam, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Mozartsaal in Hamburg, Residenz in Munich, Dvorak Hall in Prague, Great Hall of Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Suntory Hall and Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in Tokyo, Del Prado Museum in Madrid, Palace of Arts in Mexico, Philharmonie in Cologne and Konzerthaus in Freiburg, Arsenal in Metz and Corum in Montpellier...

Vadim gives recitals all over the Europe, USA, Canada and Asia in more than 30 countries. He is very often invited to participate in different music festivals among which Festival Radio France and Montpellier, Pablo Casals, Festival Berlioz, Auvers sur Oise, Colmar, Nancyphonies, Quimper, Guebwiller, Portogruaro, Settimane Musicale di Ravello, Alba, Festival of St-Riquier, Fetes Romantiques de Nohant, Young Artists Festival in Los Angeles, Semaines Musicales de Tours, 5 de Mayo in Puebla… 

He performs in various radio and TV broadcasts in many countries and recorded several CD’s for Lyrinx, Polymnie, Exton, NovAntiqua and Ibs Classical labels. In 2006 he participates in Japan at the recording of a series of CD dedicated to the 250 th Mozart Anniversary.

He played chamber music with Pieter Wispelwey, Emmanuel Pahud, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Marielle Nordmann, Philippe Bernold, David Geringas, Cedric Tiberghien, Marc Coppey, Georges Pludermacher, Alexander Melnikov, Alban Gerhardt, Anne Queffelec, Michel Lethiec, Bernard Soustrot etc.

Born in Moscow, he started to study the violin at the age of six and gave his first concert when he was only eight. He finished the famous Tchaikovsky Central Music School in Moscow, National Superior Conservatory of Music in Lyon, High Conservatory of Music in Cologne, and always obtained the highest honours.
In 2010, he is on the cover of the famous magazine “String” with an exclusive interview of six pages.

He is also an Artistic Director of the International Music Festival in Hyeres, “Les Musicales de Saint-Martin” and “Les Heures Musicales de Binic” in France. Vadim Tchijik gives master classes in Europe, in South America and in Asia and is a founder and director of ensemble “Les Virtuoses”. 

He is playing a Ferdinando Gagliano violin made in Naples in 1775.
