Elena Rozanova

Elena Rozanova was born in Odessa, Ukraine. Both her parents were musicians. She first studied at the Gnessine School and was then admitted at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Her teachers were Tatiana Zelikman, Alexei Nassedkine and Evgueni Moguilevski. She went on to win major prizes in international competitions, including the Marguerite Long - Jacques Thibaud in Paris, the Eduard Flipse in Rotterdam, and the Takahiro Sonoda of Fukuoka in Japan, the Melbourne Chamber Music competition.
She is a laureate of the Cziffra Foundation. 

She works as a soloist with many orchestras, such as the Orchestre National de France, the Royal Philarmonia of Flanders, the orchestra of the Beethovenhalle in Bonn, the Symphonic Orchestra of Novosibirsk and the Camerata of Saint Petersburg, la Camerata
Ireland. She has played with directors such as Jean-Claude Casadesus, Saulus Sondeckis and Arnold Katz, Michel Tabachnik. 

She has participated in many festivals: La Roque d'Anthéron, La Folle Journée de Nantes, Île de France, Schleswig-Holstein, Carintische Sommer, Portogruaro, Ravinia. She performs regularly in prestigious concert halls such as the Théâtre des Champs- Elysées, le Théâtre de la Ville, the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon, the Cité de la Musique in Moscow, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Doelen de Rotterdam, Shanghai Symphonie Hall.

She is part of a Trio with the violinist Svetlin Roussev and the cellist François Salque. Her other partners for chamber music are amongst others Josef Silverstein, Raphael Oleg, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Dora Schwarzberg, Barry a Douglas, François-René Duchable, Quatuor Ysaÿe, Quatuor Belcea, Quatuor Aviv, Xavier Philips, Pavel Vernikov, Graf Mourja, Ophélie Gaillard, Emmanuelle Bertrand.

His artistic activities extend beyond classical, romantic or modern repertoires.
Elena actively participates in contemporary creations and is regularly invited by the Musicatreize ensemble, specialized and internationally recognized for the commitment and promotion of contemporary composers.
In France, the recording of Elena Rozanova with violinist Graf Mourja published by Harmonia Mundi in their collection “Les Nouveaux Interprètes”, (Ravel, Schnittke, Szymanowsky) has been awarded a “Choc de la Musique” by French magazine Le Monde de la Musique. Her CD dedicated to works of Shostakovich, Ravel and Prokofiev published again by Harmonia Mundi was awarded 5 Stars by the German Magazine Fono Forum and was the object of a radio programme on Bayern 4 Klassik. The CD with violinist Svetlin Roussev dedicated to works of Vladiguerov was awarded a Diapason d’Or by Diapason Magazine, 10 of Classica/Répertoire and a “Coup de Cœur” from Piano le Magazine. 
Her CD for Satirino records dedicated has been acclaimed by the French and international press and chosen amongst de CDs of the month by cultural TV Channel arte. Her recordings as a soloist or in chamber music have been widely acclaimed by the press: "Choc" from the "Monde de la Musique", 5 Stars from the Fono forum in Germany, Diapason d'Or, 10 from Classica/Repertoire, CD of the month from the Arte channel, her solo and chamber music recordings have been widely acclaimed by the press: "Choc" from the "Monde de la Musique", 5 Stars from the Fono forum in Germany, Diapason d'Or, 10 from Classica/Repertoire, CD of the month from the Arte.
Her latest CD released by DECCA with his favorite partners Svetlin Roussev (violin) and François Salque (cello). The release of her next solo album is scheduled for spring 2022 on the Aparté label.

Also involved in teaching, Elena Rozanova taught at the Frankfurt Hochschule (1999-2005) before joining the Paris CRR and Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne (PSPBB) where she currently teaches piano. 
She is regularly invited to give Masterclasses all over the world. the world.

She is artistic director of the “Les Classiques au Val d’Isère” and « Chatel classics » chamber music festivals. Between 2016 and 2020 Elena Rozanova was taken over the educational and artistic direction of the 7 conservatories of the Dracénoise Agglomeration. In charge of the musical education of an entire territory, she has developed her activities in the service of the population. Therefore, she established a
partnership with the Association « « El Systema Mediterranée» ( the Venezuelan model of El systema ) and inspires the creation of operas which focus on primary and secondary school students in the Var region. 
In July 2020, which was a year marked by a new sanitary crisis for the world, Elena created the open air street festival «Tous en scène » in order to support all artistic,
cultural and tourist areas during these special and emotional times.
